Question on who to drop?
Question:I have both Brandon Inge and Ryan Zimmerman and am considering droping one of them to make room on my roster to pick up Ramon Ortiz.
Does anyone think this is a good idea, and if so, which player should I drop

Obviously not Zimmerman. With Soriano gone, he is the face of the Nats' franchise. Brandon Inge is an iffy player who will put up decent numbers, often being overshadowed by such a good Detroit team. Zimmerman will give much better overall production. I'd drop Inge.Should I draft more starters or closers in my fantasy baseball draft?

I must agree that you should drop Inge. Ortiz should be a good pickup. He is on a team that will get him run support. He pitched great tonight, didn't he!Sheffield or Thomas in fantasy Baseball?
I would drop Brandon Inge...Zimmerman is a power hitter so don't even think about dropping him if you do the line for waiver claims on him will be quite long!Ramon Ortiz? P Minnesota? He had a pretty bad year last year 11-16 an 5.57 ERA plus he gave up over 30 homers last year and 30 something the year before. I would try someone else, like Nate Robertson, DET, or Randy Wolf, LAD, Ian Snell PIT, Chuck James ATL. Just a suggestion good luck!

I am a Tiger fan, and I am extremely angry that you would consider dropping Carlos Guillen. Oh, wait, you said Brandon Inge? Yeah, dump him...That said, it never hurts to attempt a trade. Maybe find the dude who somehow has a worse starting 3B? Also, Ramon Ortiz is awful. Don't be fooled by his first start. He has established a track record of being terrible.
I would find an unheralded Orioles starter, if you're looking to take a gamble.
