is this a fair trade?
i already have many sp like zambrano, peavy, hamels,lackey,young, ervin santana, rich hill, and harang
this is a 6 team league

Leroy is suffering from dyslexia. You are definitely getting a better OF in Soriano, but are you making the other team better as well? I wouldn't do it because the leap in stats from Wells to Soriano is not going to outweigh what you're giving up in Halladay. I concede you may not miss Halladay with your staff, I'm just thinking other manager is licking his lips for getting two top 5 positional players (arguably) for Soriano. To use a kind of weak football analogy, giving up Tiki Barber to get Edge and Reggie Wayne. (I know Edge had a crappy year, but everyone thought he would go off in 'Zona). I would shop elsewhere if you're itching to make a trade. BTW, why don't you wait and see what Hill and Hamels do first, before chopping up your team.

First off, its too early to make that major of a move. Second, you need to be getting a pitcher in return for Halladay.
The simple logistics is that Halladay is your best fantasy pitcher. He has the best combo of k's, wins, era, and whip by far. I would be quicker to offer Lackey or Peavy. You are offering a very good offensive player in Wells, so don't break the bank with your best pitcher. If the other team insists on Halladay, make sure to get a pitcher back.

Is there money involved? This doesn't sound like an especially competitive league. If you want to have fun, go ahead and make the trade. It's sort of ludicrous that you have the starting staff that you do. But to answer your question, no, this is not a fair trade.
