Tim Rattay to Oakland, Draft Calvin Johnson?
ESPN's John Clayton reported that Al Davis is actualy considering sighning Tim Rattay and drafting WR Calvin Johnson with the number one pick in this Aprils draft. Is it just me or is this a terrible idea, How can you pass on the rocket arm of JaMarcus Russell. One argument towards the Tim Rattay and Calvin Johnson idea is that you can draft Stanford QB Trent Edwards in round number 2, if he's still available, and make him the future QB of the Oakland Raiders. Dont forget that Oakland offensive coordinator Greg Knapp worked with QB Tim Rattay while they were both in SF, so there is some beef behind this rumor, but is this the answer?

YES.. It should happen C.J. is the best player in the draft & should go 1st. Russel has alot of ?'s. PLUS BIG AL's days are numbered and he wants to win NOW! tim rattay is really not that terrible. not great but he is serviceable. anyway, raiders should wait must draft calvin johnson. trade moss for some picks or OLine help. then draft another QB like trent edwards, drew stanton, kolb, heck maybe even troy smith.Why would they pick up Tim Rattay? Don't they already have his twin-pro... Andrew Walter. lol, neway... Calvin's a great pick no matter who takes him at whatever draft spot. But the Lions will trade their pick to someone who wants Calvin. That's what team he'll go to.. whoever pays the Lions the highest price.
