Huge Deal...?
Question:Someone offered me a deal in my 6x6 (hits and holds are the additional categories) 12 team fantasy league. It's a keeper league but it doesn't matter cause all these players were taken before round 5 (rule is can't keep anyone after round 5)
I get:
A-Rod
Bobby Jenks, yes somehow he was taken in round 5
He gets:
Miguel Tejada
Robinson Cano
Mariano Rivera
My backup SS is Stephen Drew, but I got Bill Hall as my 3B so I figure to move him to SS (he's got eligibility), A-Rod would be my 3B, and I got a pretty good backup 2B in Orlando Hudson so I'd move him to replace Cano. Obviously, Big Bobby would replace Rivera and while Rivera is better, I still have Joe Nathan, Jose Valverde, and Manny Corpas as my other relievers. (If your asking who is Manny Corpas, he's the Rockies set-up guy, he is money for holds if anyone out there needs a guy).
I really think this is in my favor cause I'm getting the top fantasy performer so far and I got good guys to replace, should I pull the trigger?

The way A-rod is playing right now, I think you should do this trade. Yes you lose a great second baseman and closer but you have people who can back them up. It is also good that your getting rid or Rivera because with Joe Nathan u really dont need another reliever. A-rod so far is playing great so you should get him while you canWho should start this week? Vick or Garcia?

No. A-Rod, although he has had an attractive spring, will cool down. Cano is my pick to win the AL Avg title this year, while Tejada will have a nice year. Jenks is inconsistent (definately compared to Rivera).Rate my fantasy base ball team?
This is tremendously in your favor, but don't be surprised if it gets vetoed. Corpas is a very nice mid-reliever, but he may not get too many holds because Colorado doesn't seem to get any leads this year (contrary to my prediction).More Questions & Answers...
