Did I make a good trade David Ortiz, Ryan Zimmerman, Clemens for Chipper, Ryan Howard and Ted Lilly?

Question:I did this because I was in 5th place out of 12 and wasn't moving up or down the standings. I am banking on Howard turning things around obviously. Howard can be as good as Ortiz, Chipper is better than Zimmerman and I picked up Clemens in free agency so I just threw him in to sweeten the deal.

What do you all think?

Definitely not. Ryan Howard is hurt right now and gets walked way too much. Lilly is the best part of that trade right now. Giving up Ortiz and Zimmerman could really hurt you. Clemens will probably pitch sub .500 this year, so that helped you in a way. But ultimately I think you should have rejected/not offered the trade because if you think about it, sometimes it's better to not do anything and stay where you as opposed to taking a gamble and possibly moving up in your league or dropping a spot or two, which could move you out of playoff contention. Answer this question..Why?! Ryan Howard is no where NEAR Papi. Howard had one good year and its going to stay that way. Zimmerman is too good to give up because Chip will get hurt. Clemens is going to do better than Lily. Lily is just doing good now just wait till the end of the season. Quit Fantasy baseball.
