Would you trade an everyday player (Russell Martin) for a pitcher (Brandon Webb) if you already Joe Mauer?
I lack pitchers that get a lot of strikeouts, and I usually lose that catagory

If you have Mauer and are in need of K's there is absolutely no reason to not do this trade.For some catchers, it's nice to have a backup for all the games they sit out, but Mauer should play between 130-150 games every year, so this is a great trade option, and will help your pitching stats in 4 out of the 5 categories.

No need to have two top catchers on your roster. If you can get a Cy Young candidate like Webb for Martin...I would do it in a heartbeat. Fantasy sports dont go by day to day stats, its week to week that counts (in h2h leagues). The impact Webb will have on weeks where he gets two starts is far greater than a catcher

I would absolutely do this trade. you have Mauer, probably the best catcher in baseball, and would be trading for one of the top pitchers in the game. Martin is nice, but getting Webb for him is great...top K pitcher who will eat innings...get it done!Is ricky williams returning to the dolphins this year or not?

This is a no brainer. Webb is a top 5 pitcher in the league. You have a top 3 catcher. Pull the trigger all day and night and this deal. Plus Webb would be a tremendous help in the K's catagory.Please Rate My Fantasy Baseball Team 2007...?
