NBA Fantasy Trade?
Question:alrite here's the deal: I am in 1st place and haven't lost a single week this entire year. Unfortunately, most players on my team have been dropping like flies (i.e. Dwyane Wade, Deron WIlliams, Mehmet Okur, just to name a few). There's 8 people in our league, and i hold a 8 game lead on second place, and I've already clinched a playoff spot.
I recently got proposed a trade that might help my team a lot, considering i have to play the 3rd, 4th, and 2nd place teams to finish out the season. Here it is:
I give up: Shawn Marion, Shaquille O'Neal, Stephen Jackson
I get: Pau Gasol, Jason Kidd, Ben Gordon
My team is great at points and assists, but i need rebounds and 3s pretty badly.
Should i do this trade and why?

im neutral. i wont say to do it and i wont say dont do it. u said ur already good in assists but u need rebounds and 3's. if u need rebounds and 3's, dont give up marion (rebounds and 3's) AND stephen jackson (at least knocks in a couple of 3's).this trade will definately help ur rebounds (kidd and gasol), but ur threes might actually drop, since gordon makes about 2, and marion makes about 2 himself. kidd doesnt shoot 3's. i personlaly would make the trade because of kidd's rebounding from the PG

Personally, I would do it. Shawn Marion is the best player in this deal, but he's worth trading for Gordon + Kidd + Gasol. Shaq is a dominant player, but not a dominant fantasy player. Stephen Jackson is worth 0 in this deal.I'd make the deal.

well I like the trade but that won't get you 3's or many rebounds. look to get al jefferson for a cheap trade for rebounds and jarett jack for cheap for assists. they both can help out in other areas too like blocks and scoring. or even better get D. Howard little more to get him but he is worth it. Or arange something to get Gasol and a 3 point shooter Kidd and Gordon are not 3 pt shooters.Who should I start for my Championship game?
No Deal! Shaq is back to lead the team to the playoffs and Shawn Marion is great for every stat but assists. I just dont see the advantage for giving up Shaq right now and Marion at anytime. Deal Jackson.How many homeruns will Sammy Sosa have this year?
Well Bronx, it's a toss-up trade, but seeing as how you need boards, i think giving up shawn marion would be a mistake. he's a great fantasy player. shaq also provides some rebounding. jkidd is obviously a great rebounding pg but won't get what shawn does. i say don't do the trade and stick with the guys that have gotten you this farTime to drop Jennings or S.Moss?
I would definately do the trade. Kidd and Marion are a wash. Gasol is way better than the Older Shaq and i think Gordon has much more potential than Jackson.More Questions & Answers...
