Where do i lack?
Who could i trade to get what i need?
I traded O.Hudson & M. Young & V. Wells for B. Roberts & M. Tejada & M. Holliday..was this a smart move?
I think i need better OF and SP.but who should i try and get? Im a guy that likes to trade...

u have two risky closers in valverde and todd jones with swisher and green on your bench i would see if i can ateam deep in clsoers that need of helpWould you wait in line to meet Robby Gordon?
try and get rid of alou for a power hitter if you can try and get manny ramierez if possible and another relief pitcher for saves, but your team is decentGeez, i'd be very happy with a team like that. Get Swisher and Green of the bench for Alou and Granderson.
Stick with that team for awhile but be on the lookout for a good closer cause you are a little weak in that area.

Your team actually looks fine to me. I would put brandon phillips into the utility spot because of his power and speed(potential 30 and 30 type player). Nick Swisher appears to be over his injuries and I would start him over alou and use alou as my bench player. Konerko should heat up this year as he is a known .300 avg and 40 hr player. I don't think he'll get to 40 hr's this year but 35 isn't out of the question. Todd Jones is a solid closer and valerde has a hold on the job in arizona. Most owners try to carry 3 closers but you can usually find 1 on the waivers during the season. The Indians could turn to Beatencourt at some time during the season and the d-backs could turn to brandon lyons eventually. You just have to be pro-active. I did not draft any closers in last year's draft by using that strategy and I found some extra hitters in the draft that way and at the end of the year my clsoers were jj putz, papplebon, borowski and otuska.ok really good trade for you i think...lack closers..but nice lineup..if you want a pitcher jake peavy is dominant and i would go for him....give what you can but dont ruin your team...im saying he is worth it just dont destroy your team for one player

Yes you need starting pitching.one advice I would give first timers is shore up your pitching staff early. You have a much better chance of finding every day players later in the draft. Example would be BJ Upton from of all places Tampa Bay. Leading the league in hitting right now.Personally do not like the trade you made. Young and Wells are as good as they get at there positions. They are versatile, they hit for average, knock in runs plus play on good offensive teams. They being said its done, lets move passed it. Maine might be a guy who would have some value to get an OF. Not sure if he can hold it together all year. He might do it though. I would throw feelers out, if you can get 2 for 1. Trade a guy who has a lot of value for guys that may not be as good but you could get 2 guys to fill holes. Would also put Swisher in your lineup instead of Alou.
As far as guys I might target.look at the waiver wire...you might find guys like Wheeler from Houston, James from Atlanta. You need to shore up your bullpen.
