I am in a tight spot in fantasy baseball.?
Question:I have J.J. Hardy and Édgar Rentería at shortstop. One of them has to go. Edgar of course will always have the same numbers, they wont be great. But nevertheless they are good.
Hardy looks like he will finally get to play a full season, which could mean anywhere from 20-30 homers. Which one should go? I have no other option at this point. Chone Figgins is coming off the DL, so I have to make room.
The option to trade in this league is null, I may as well pull teeth.
Answers:
its still early in the season but still Édgar Rentería isnt doing to bad i would keep him... he had a good season last year
I always go with the known rather than the unknown. Unless you are not doing too well, in which case you might go with Hardy. High risk, High reward.
Who should I start Burress or Fitzgerald??
I would keep Renteria, but keep an eye on Hardy's performance as the season progresses.I don't think Hardy will get 20 - 30 homers. He will probably get 17 with 50 RBI's, where as Renteria will probably finish with 15 homers, 70 RBI's, but he will also get you stolen bases (15 or so).
Should i trade M Bibby fot Pau Gasol? fantasy basketball?
I would definately drop Renteria before I would drop Hardy. JJ has much more potential and ER is on the down side of his career. His skills are going south and Hardy is improving. IF, and that is a BIG IF, Hardy can stay healthy, he will get you 25 long balls with about 80 RBIs with that young lineup in MIL.How do we handle empty spots on an auto pick draft?
I would keep Hardy based on upside and potential. Renteria is consistently mediocre...Hardy ahs a chance to be pretty goodMore Questions & Answers...
