2007 Packers Draft?
Question:Should the Packers take RB Marshawn Lynch from California or take one of these WR'S-Dwayne Jarret from USC or Robert Meachem from Tennessee?
Answers:
Which team gained/lost the best player this offseason?
This is who I would draft if I were the Packers...1) Trade up to get Adrian Peterson
Why? He is a special and rare talent, by far the best RB prospect in the draft. If he gets to the #6 pick, I would offer the Redskins whatever I can, plus the kitchen sink to draft him. Probably an unlikely scenario, but this guy is going to be really, really good.
2) Draft Marshawn Lynch
Why? They need a RB very badly and he's the 2nd rated RB prospect in the draft. I personally think, Lynch will not turn out to be anything special but the Packers don't have any other options. Should be there when the Pack pick at 16.
3.) Draft the best available Wide Receiver
Why? Packers have trouble scoring and Brett Favre needs weapons. If Ted Ginn Jr. is available, I would take him over RB Lynch. If not, Meachem would be a solid pick.
4.) Trade down and draft TE Greg Olsen
Why? Probably too much of reach at 16, but trade down and draft the best TE in the draft, someone who has good speed and gives Favre a target over the middle and in the red zone.
5.) Draft Alan Branch
Why? He would be steal at 16. Big run-stuffing lineman would be a good fit for the Packers. Unlikely to happen, but who knows.
Marshawn Lynch, because they don't have Ahman Green anymore and they are incomplete in the RB position. But D.J. could be very good. Whoever makes this pick will have a hard time sleeping.
What are some others top college football pre-season polls?
Marshawn Lynch, they really need a good RB, and Brett Favre needs good running for his possible final season.Jarrett = Mike Williams
Meacham = Mushin Muhammed
Lynch = Curtis Enis
Which do you pick?
d fence
defense
DEEEE! fense.
I am not a Packer fan but on the Madison ESPN station they have talked about the pick being for defense. No one in particular has been said but gives other teams something to think about if it is true.
