Simple Answer: NoFirst for this to happen the Bears would need to remove their franchise tag on Lance Briggs and sign him to a contract before he can be traded to anywhere. Second the Bears are unlikely to trade Briggs for a swap of first round picks (although its a huge swap) unless they have their eye on somebody specific the trade wont happen. Since they weren't looking to trade up they haven't scouted any top draft choices so IF it happens it would take a while to develop.

Nope... and it seems that the Bears are sticking their guns regardless of the threats Briggs has issued. (sitting out 10 games and suiting up for 6 to get his full 7.2 mill). IMO... he can go wherever the hell he wants after this BS. He'll never play next to a guy like Urlacher ever again. We'll see how he does in a different city and in a different defensive scheme.
