What was the song during the Nfl draft at the beginning when it showed troy smith working out?
great draft picked patrick willis at #11 then manipulated the draft in their favor to get joe staley a T at the end of the first round got two d-ends later and a reciever to work with...i would give them an A- should of maybe gotten another weapon on offense...Excellent! Patrick Willis was a GREAT pick. The guy will be a multi-time Pro Bowl player. Joe Staley was a great pick as well. He's a solid OT. Eric Wright, the CB from UNLV, was a good value pick and is a great athelete.
All in all, the 49ers had one of the best drafts of any team.

Is "Pacman" Jones' suspension fair?
Only the Browns had a better first round than the 49ers. Overall the 49ers had a great draft and have made a serious push to become a playoff contender in the 2007-2008 football season.GREAT....THEY DRAFTED MOSTLY DEFENSE.AND ALL THEIR PICKS WERE GREAT PICKS... ..PATRICK WILLIS IN THE FIRST ROUND!! ..I THINK HE WILL BE LIKE MANNY LAWSON IN THAT HE WILL MAKE A IMPACT THE FIRST YEAR..AND THEY SAY HES REALLY FAST...NOT ONLY IS HE A HUGE TALENT>>.but ..IM IN THE BAY AREA and caught his radio interview..Sounds like a great high character guy...Can't wait to see how he does....And all our new niners....its going to be a great season..
Who thinks Ron Mexico may be one or two bad headlines away from being out - in Atlanta? and the NFL?
They had an excellent draft. The drafted Patrick Willis who will get some playing time and have the opportunity to learn behind to solid veterans in Jeff Ulbrich and Derek Smith. Joe Staley is a very good offensive lineman who will probably get an opportunity to possibly start. Jason Hill could provide a playmaker at wide reciever which they were severly lacking. Ray McDonald and Jay Moore are both good defensive lineman who were needed. Also the acquisition of Darrell Jackson from their division rival, Seatle Seahawks, for a 4th round pick will give them a solid number 1 wide reciever. Overall they definitely improved their team immensly. This draft might end up comparing favorably with some of ex-coach Bill Walsh's top drafts. Ole Miss middle linebacker Patrick Willis was the worst-kept secret in the draft. San Francisco head coach Mike Nolan fell in love with him at the Senior Bowl and he tagged Willis early as his kind of player. They made a smart trade to acquire Central Michigan OT Joe Staley and Washington State WR Jason Hill was one of the Pac-10's most productive receivers, converting 158 receptions into 111 first downs and 32 touchdowns. Hill could be the playmaker that Alex Smith covets. They also traded a fourth-rounder to Seattle for WR Darrell Jackson, the third-leading wide receiver in Seahawks' history. Jackson, who had knee tendonitis, wore out his welcome in Seattle despite leading the club receptions last season. Deion Branch made him expendable. Nebraska DE Jay Moore has a chance to be a solid pro and a standup outside linebacker. Moore is another player, like Willis, that Nolan fell in love with at the Senior Bowl. Now, the 49ers did take a character risk in Texas CB Tarell Brown, but waited until the fifth round to do it. But Brown, who has a difficult off-the-field background, was a three-year starter at Texas and that's something very positive.
