Trading Ahman Green was the best move we could have made. This young team made a run at the playoffs last year and would have been the most feared team if they would have made it. This young team is talented. Week 17 vs Bears. Killed 'em. This team will go atleast 11 wins next season. Morrency reminds me of a young Jamal Lewis who just runs people over. The o-line is set. The d-line is set. The only concern would be a safety and a tight end. This team will be the surprise of 2007. You heard it first. I predict them to go 12-4 with a first round bye. The best record in NFC will be the Saints at 12-4, possibly 13-3. The Bears will slip by going 10-6. The Eagles at 10-6. The Cowboys at 11-5. And finally, the Seahawks will win the tie breaker over rival Arizona at 9-7 to sneak in.

I doubt it...they are in need of many adjustments,and the letting go of Ahman Green didnt help any.Sure,green was tilting on the injury prone side...but you also lost you TE Martin,that is a young prospect in that position,epecially with Franks being injury prone as well.Farve is rounding his ending years,and to be able to establish himself with new talent takes some time.When they do go SB bound,I believe Farve will not be there...sorry to say.

The Packers are getting better, but I think the Eagles will be the team to beat in the NFC next year. They will get McNabb back and will be dangerous. I think they will go with the more run oriented offense they used at the end of last season, except with McNabb at QB instead of Garcia. This team is still a very young team if you think of it, Sure Favre comes back and gets the team over .500 but I am unsure if they will make the Superbowl let alone the playoffs. I live in Wisconsin and I talk about this stuff all of the time. If they do happen to make the playoff's, they will be a wildcard for sure. The Bears will take the division, and Green Bay will have a better record than Minnesota. But you still have to think about all of the other teams who have NFC playoff potential... can the Packers beat the Eagles? Saints? Cowboys? Seahawks... Bears? It is just too hard to comprehend that Green and Gold will make the big one... let Favre break some more records and continue to rebuild..Farve and his ego for breaking records is the Packers stumbling block! I see him as more as an embarrassment than a starting QB! His decision making, his quickness, and his ability to throw into coverage has suffered badly. He has been the main reason for the fall of your beloved Packers! But as so many have in the past, they play 2,3,4 years too long. He has the mind set he is 25 years old, and can get away with throws he used to make but cant now. He's also been very inconsistant as a player. I also put the blame on the coaching staff for not setting his butt down on the bench. the difference i see with him and Marino, was in Miami, the coaches called 80%+ of the plays, and since they were so predictable, the defemses figured out where the play was going; hence the accumulated number of INT's. Farve has been given the go ahead to change a play at any time, and at 50% he does just that. the past 3 or 4 years its been his downfall. He's extremely selfish, and to me not the team player he was during the years of their playoff runs. Now its about passing Marino for most TD's.and more than likely he'll break it. But i guarrentee he'll throw more INT's than Td's getting there!
