Dwayne Jarrett?
Question:Dwayne Jarrett dropped into the second round. A lot of people argue that this is because of the Mike Williams fiasco in Detroit.
Is comparing Jarrett to Williams a fair comparison considering they came from the same school/system, have similar size (at draft time, Jarrett was 1 inch shorter and 10 lbs lighter) and similar 40 times?
Basically, do you think Jarrett will be a productive nfl player or just another Mike Williams? Although they seem similar, doesn't the recent success of big receivers (Braylon Edwards, Larry Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, Anquan Boldin, Marques Colston, etc) imply that Jarrett might be pretty good?

Braylon Edwards has done relatively nothing since being drafted. Marques Colston was a gem in the Seventh round. Boldin is much more physical reciver, and Larry has that to compliment him. Roy Williams is just a great reciever. FOr those reasons, I dont think he will be productive. He is a system WR. He will have to fit in the right system in the right role to be successful, and that is very uncommmon for WRs in the NFL.Did Mike Nolan made a bad move by picking Thomas Clayton?
First off Mike Williams still has a future he just got traded to the raiders and he could become a big star now that randy moss isnt hogging the ball and crying. I thought jarrett was the best wide reciever in the draft after seeing some films of him i was very impressed. The dolphins should have picked jarrett instead of ginn jr. Jarrett looks to me like he can be a great wide receiverfor years to come, maybe the next Keyshawn Johnson. I dont think it is a fair comparison to compare Jarrett to Williams.1. Jarrett had more than one good year at USC
2. Jarrett is to a better team than what Williams went to
I guess the good thing is, if Jarrettt is a bust is that he didnt get taken as early as Williams and not many will think too much of it, like we did when Mike Williams sucked

Jarrett will have success as long as he is across the field from Steve Smith. Jarrett will be a very good pocession receiver. He is a big target for the red zone which will be good for him. Each player needs to be in the right scheme to succeed. I think Jarret found a good home.I need to get faster for football?
