Who has the better duo of recievers Arizona Cardinals or Detroit Lions?

Question:Arizona got larry fitzgerald and aquan boldin, but i dont think their better than the lions with Roy williams and Calvin Johnson.
Johnson and Boldin is # 81 Williams and Fitzgerald is #11
Do the players with the same # play alike

Answers:

How would you feel if...?

In the 2006 Regular Season:

Roy Williams had 82 receptions for 1,310 yards and 7 TD's.
Larry Fitz had 69 receptions for 946 yards and 6 TD's.
Anquan Boldin had 83 receptions for 1,203 yards and 4 TD's.

Obviously, Calvin Johnson has not played in the NFL yet, so let me give you Mike Furrey's stats...the other Detroit wide receiver last year.

Mike Furrey had 98 receptions for 1,086 yards and 6 TD's.

Combined:
Larry Fitz/Anquan Boldin - 152 rec for 2,149 yds & 10 TD's.
Roy Williams/Mike Furrey - 180 rec for 2,396 yds & 13 TD's.

Detroit Lions have the better receivers.

Since the introduction of the salary cap in the NFL, what has been the most vicious cut of all?

Arizona has better recievers and a better QB

Who was a better coach, Tom Landry or Jimmy Johnson?

To start next season I would have to say Arizona has the edge. By the end of the season we could all be feeling differently. In a season or two I think the Lions will have a clear edge.

Will the saints beat the colts on september the 6! i say the saints do beat the colts big?

arizona has a better pair of receivers than the lions..just because he was good in college doesnt mean calvin johnson will be good in the pros.that was the same thinking that got them mike williams and where is he now? at least the cards receivers are battle tested

Why does everyone on TV hate Ohio State?

Until Calvin Johnson becomes Jerry Rice the answer is the Arizona Cardinals.

If Calvin becomes what he is thought to become and with a mike martz offense the Lions receivers could be the real thing.

A detroit lions question?

No, just because players have the same number doesnt mean they play alike. Jag reciever Reggie Williams also wears #11, but I wouldnt put him in the class of Fitzgerald or Roy Williams. Id have to say the best duo is Boldin and Fitzagerald. They have a better RB in Edge James, and I think a better QB in Matt Leinart. Kevein Jones is good but gets hurt alot and Kitna is pretty decent but dont have the potential that Leinart has. Plus its not been proven how good Calvin Johnson will be in the pros yet. In time I htink he'll be a monster, but it might take a couple years for him to be a top notch player.

Brett Farve...another season?

Put me in for the Cardinals duo. My mind can be changed on this and I hope that Calvin Johson plays well enough to make me reconsider.

Do you think the Colts will repeat?

Arizona, as their receivers are game proven.

Did the Bucs make a bad pick by choosing Arron Sears?

Question is impossible to answer until we see if johnson is the real deal. Sure good vertical leaps and 40 times are one thing, but that doesn't mean he has "it."

Do you think Moss will be in New England for more than his contract which is a year??

Even though Detroit just picked up Calvin Johnson, he hasn't proven himself just yet in the NFL

Arizona has a solid corps with Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin, both of which are extremely talented and versatile WRs.

Arizona over Detroit in this comparison

Quarterback football throwing formation?

Arizona has the more proven duo in Boldin and Fitz but I think that Detroit's Roy and Calvin have more potential to be great for a long time no matter who is at QB. Go LIONS

Hey whats up? I have a football question.?

Arizona, but only because they are NFL tested. If Calvin Johnson comes in and tears it up, they I would have to side with Detroit.

Name 5 or so Back up Qb's that could replace Romo?!!?

Right now its Arizona because both Fitzgerald and Boldin are PROVEN. Roy Williams has proven himself in Detroit, but Calvin Johnson has yet to play a down of NFL football. When its all said and done, they will probably have the SECOND best WR combo in the NFL (the #1 duo is Marvin Harrison/Reggie Wayne). And by the way, you have omitted Mike Furrey from your mentioning of Detroit Lions receivers. The former strong safety led the Lions with over 100 receptions last year and is a very reliable possession guy. So they may have the best TRIO of receivers soon.

Who thinks the cowboys have a chance to win the superbowl?

Ever hear of:

Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt - STL
Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne - IND
Chad Johnson and T.J Houshmanzadah - CIN

Who is going to be the next MVP next year?

Arizona. I think either one of the Boldin and Fitzgerald duo is better than Williams, because last year was his first great season. Meanwhile, Calvin Johnson is a rookie. He could be a huge bust. I doubt it, but you never know what could happen. Everyone thought the other Detroit receivers could be Hall of Famers too. Now, obviously Johnson is a better prospect than guys like Mike Williams, but he still has never played a game, so it is unfair to say he is better than a proven young receiver like Fitzgerald or Boldin, who by the way two years ago each had over 100 catches for each over 1,400 yards despite playing on a bad team with a washed up QB.

David Carr and Dominic Davis /Williams released are generating a lot of questions. Are NFL fans so bored or?

Arizona. Fitzgerald and Boldin have proven they are both outstanding receivers. Williams is not better than either of them and Johnson has not proven himself as an NFL wideout yet.

Why do the steelers think they are black and gold?

cardinals

future mayb detroit.
the problem is.. who will give johnson and williams the ball

How good will Texas A&M be this season?

Cards!!

Is it possible for the Chiefs to get Dwayne Jarrett in the draft?

ill go with the Lions...the Cardinals are more proven but i think the Lions are better..

plus the Cardinals duo have a hard time staying healthy

What numbers will JaMarcus Russel and Calvin Johnson choose?

I wouldn't trade Boldin and Fitz for anyone. That said, the Lions' duo has a chance to be incredible. But let's see how CJ does in his rookie year. For now, Big Red all the way (plus, Leinart is better than Kitna...or Stanton, for that matter.)!
