What should i play in HS football if i'm 14 and just going into HS?
I'm 5 foot 5 and i'm growing fast so i think i'll be at least 5 foot 7 AT LEAST. i have a good arm and i'am thinking about playing quarterback. i can throw far and accurately but i'm intimidated by a kid from another school who's going to the same HS as me next year. everyone says he has a rocket arm. I'm fast and am on my schools relay team. i would love to be a dual threat QB. If i don't make QB what should i play. I can break tackles easily and can deke people out alright aswell. I can tackle about average and can jump pretty high(can dunk 8.5 foot rim).i weigh 145 pounds and i',m gaining weight too. i'm in shape (six pack, real).what should i play?

Who is the best quarterback with out any kind of title?Why?
QB is a good choice, don't be intimidated by anyone! Remember that hype is just that,"HYPE" most guys are not as good as some people think and besides, if he is good at that position it will only help you to be better. Secondly, you can't see the future and you don't know if he will get hurt this summer or even the beginning of this season, so keep that in mind.I would say that you should ask your coach to assign you your position, he will know better than anyone on the Internet--we can't see you.
My advice to you is to do one of these options:
#1 If you want to play a skill position like QB, RB, WR go for it and work your hardest to be the best one on your team. Do not settle for being second best, be the starter. To be the best you must beat the best, remember that.
#2 If you just want to make sure that you get to play, then ask your coach where he needs the most help and then tell him that you are willing to play that position to help the team.
#3 Look at the team as a whole and see where there will be seniors graduating with little talent to replace them--then go for it.
I'm a coach and that is the best advice that I can give you.

No offense dude, but you're waaaaaaaaay too short to play QB unless you have more talent than anybody in the history of football. I think you're only real shot, unless you grow A LOT, is cornerback.Another pat dynasty? possibly undefeated?
look i had the same problem i was 5'5" now i'm 5'7" and i'm still growing but i had the same problem in the beginning of my current freshman year either play wr or stay at qb mostly coachs care bout who comes to practice more so keep going and thats all i can sayMore Questions & Answers...
