Is the coach at Norte Dame a football wizard?

The way I see it it is pointless for the Lions to draft a QB in the first round. Take Joe Thomas. Without a line, their QB spends most of the time on the ground anyways.

What is the name of the head-referee in last year's LSU-Auburn game?

No, the raiders are going to take him, because he is perfect for throwing to Randy Moss.

Is Reggie Bush...?

Yes, the Raiders might not want him and there is still Brady Quinn and Charles Johnson who could be picked ahead of him. Anything is possible because some teams pick the best player or fill a need.

Is the new Steelers coach any good ?

I feel the Lions will Get Russell. LA is Iffy right now on him...But they wouldn't want to show thier cards to soon...

"College Football Fans" who are the top 5 WR in this years NFL draft?

i think that russell fits better into the raiders system and quinn fits better into the lions system. however the lions may still get russell because oakland could draft calvin johnson and trade moss for a qb

Top 10 picks in NFL Draft?

i say the lions will have a little chance of getting him...unless the raiders get a QB that will start for them. Then they may just select someone else!

How do you think Randy Moss will do in New England?

yeah because the raiders might just draft calvin johnson.

Who is number 27 of the jacksonville jaguars an how do i find his picture?

Yes, it's a strong possibility. Here are my reasons why:
1) Al Davis and the Raiders War Room have not made a definite committment to drafting JaMarcus Russell
2) They've shown extreme interest in WR Calvin Johnson, who is a bigger faster stronger version of #18.
3) For some odd reason, the Raiders seem to think Andrew Walter is a quarterback worthy of being an NFL starter
4) Drafting a QB high in the draft has mixed results (you can get a Peyton Manning, but you can also wind up with Ryan Leaf. Cade McNown, Tim Couch and Akili Smith are important names to remember too

If the Raiders go with Calvin Johnson, not even the braindead Matt Millen could screw this up. I think Detroit is a better fit for Russell anyway. The Lions have a decent O-Line, have Tatum Bell in the backfield as insurance if/when Kevin Jones gets injured, and they have Roy Williams and Mike Furrey at the WR's. They have Jon Kitna on the roster, who was the starter for the Bengals for a season before turning the job over to Carson Palmer. How'd that work out? I'm hoping the Raiders go with Johnson because I think Russell could make the Lions relevant in the NFC again.

Ya know people say the bears will suck next year, but who in the NFC will beat them?

Not a chance.

What is going on with the Min. Vikings? Huge salary cap , Huge needs and they have done NOTHING on free agency

I would say no because Kitna's style to tutor a QB coming into the NFL is more suited for a Quinn or even a (Stanton).
I think the thing the Lion's really need is a solid offensive line so I would be more along the line of a Joe Thomas, Levi Brown, Joe Staley, or a Justin Blaylock.

I say the Lions will more than likely pick up Quinn if not a long shot would be Stanton.

Did the Houston Texans make the right first round pick?

I think there is a better chance than most people think. The reason is because Calvin Johnson is such a great prospect that the Raiders will get a lot of offers for a trade. I think the Bucs really want him and if they got a hint that they might not be able to get him at #4 they would give away the farm to the Raiders. If that happens, Jamarcus Russell is sitting there for the Lions. The real question is whether the Lions would take him if he was available. With Millen it is a crap shoot.

Are NFL players thugs?

As it looks now, they have a decent shot of getting him if Oakland decides to not use its first pick overall. If they decide to trade down for a suite of picks, which would let them address more of the holes in their roster at once, then likely whoever trades up for it would take either Russell or Johnson first overall. Detroit would probably take Russell if Johnson goes first, or Joe Thomas if Russell is off the board first. Oakland is playing their cards close to their chest, though, right now, probably in hopes of driving up the trade value of their pick closer to draft day.

Keep in mind the last time Oakland took a high-draft quarterback - Todd Marinovich. Davis might still be leery about committing to a QB with the first overall pick, as the Raiders have only drafted first overall once in their history. Then again, Davis tends to get man-crushes on some draft picks, and might go with Russell after all just like the Titans took Vince Young last year after their war room got a man-crush on him. Top-pick QBs tend to command very high salaries, though, which Oakland might not be as willing to pay as it might for a first-overall-pick WR like Johnson, or avoid paying first-overall-pick salary altogether by trading down.

BTW, for two previous posters - its Calvin Johnson, not Charles, and the Raiders have been out of LA for a while now, might want to stop basing your draft predictions off of your rosters from Tecmo Super Bowl, there...

How much salary would Brady Quinn have gotten if he was 3rd instead of 22nd pick by Cleveland Browns?

Always a chance who thought Bush would be in New Orleans a year ago.

How about them florida gators? i am #1fan?

No, not unless they manage to sign a vetaran QB that can bring drastic changes in the next 2 years. The only one left on the market is Trent Green, but it is highly unlikely he will end up in Oakland. Also, the Raiders probably learned a valuable lesson from Houston last year not to overlook the #1 prospect in favor of someone else who has less potential. The last thing they need is more scrutiny in the media.

What happens to the loosing superbowl teams t-shirts and hats?

Al Davis just can't make up is his mind right now.
The latest out of Oakland was they all of a sudden liked Calvin Johnson and he moved up on their board.

If the Raiders do decide to go with Johnson that would leave the door wide open for the Lions to get Russell. The question is are the Lions impressed with Russell? They don't seem to be nor talk that highly of him if he drops to #2.
