Z. Thomas prob has a little more left in the tank as of right now i would say he is better.Derrick brooks because he plays pass coverage and the run well.

i think its no question that Brooks has had the better NFL career....a Super Bowl victory, NFL Defensive Player of the Year..countless Pro Bowls....and a dominating Bucs defense his entire career...
Brooks will be in the Hall of Fame some day, and Thomas will not....
although right now in their careers its pretty close..Brooks has lost a little bit of his amazing athleticism..
but i still think Brooks is slightly better now than Thomas....

Great question, both are models of consistency and tackling machines, i like them both but (apart from rodney harrison and dwight freeney) D Brooks is the best defensive player and my fav. Better pass coverage, team player, SB ring etc it would be great to have them both thoughMore Questions & Answers...
