The teams are equal except for Brisbane who has extra players on the list, and Sydney has higher cost of living. The other teams are all based in 'football states' as they are referred to as.

Sydney has a higher player payment cap - cost of living.
Brisbane has higher player payment cap - extra players.

The dollar amount, I cannot tell you off the top of my head. Not exorbitant like the national sports of other countries, we don't have the population to support the extravagance.
