Question:That on Monday morning's sunrise the hosts had a bit of a chuckle that a few people e-mailed them about the Swans winning the flag
Apparently Fox-Footy showed a replay of the 2005 game Saturday arvo because they could not have it on live because ch10 had the rights and some people watched and thought the Swans had won the flag and then e-mailed Sunrise thinking the Swans were premiers how dissapointing and embarrased would they have felt to learn that they had lost by a point
Check chanel 7 or sunrise if you dont believe me IT IS TRUE

Really? Man that sucks.I remember walking past JB Hi-Fi and seeing the replay of the 2005 Grand Final. They were the same teams (Sydney and West Coast), so I thought it was the 2006 replay. Haha. Then it flashed to Tadhg Kennelly's family in Ireland, and I was like, "wait, they didn't do that this year!".
It's sad to hear the Sunrise story... and it's a shame the Swans lost.
But maybe FOX Footy should know better? Or at least should have had a message something across the screen to indicate that it was from last year.
