It's a bit of both.Not understandable of the fact they did it, but understandable that it could happen because they've just won a GF and they're all excited and just looking forward to getting drunk.
However, those Auskick kids would have been so excited to get that chance to shake one of their heroes hands. They held their little hands out wanting to touch a player they look up to and the guy just walks away.
Imagine if the same had happened if it was old Johnny Howard handing out the medals and they walked away from him without shaking his hand. It would be seen as a huge snub and you'd never hear the end of it.

disgraceful... those kids look up to those guys. now im not saying that a group of fit men who kick a ball of air around should be roll models, but you look at the way they blew them off. i remember the first time i was rudely treated by an AFL player, i thought, well to hell with you (and thats why i dont support the crows). i now work for port adelaide/port power, and today mark williams came in and sat with a family at a table and started to talk to a 5 year old boy! support your supporters!When will I be able to buy Swans tickets for 07?

that was nothing. ohh and why do kids even do that its ridiculous i recon the players have 2 crouch down just to get thier medals. i recon take then kids away from that. its not the players fault they were to excited nd only 6 players didnt shake the kids hands but a majority of them 6 did put their hand out. so pay more attention next time and don't blame the eagles blame the AFL for using the kids in the 1st place.Who will win the 2006 AFL premiership?
