Is benji marshall the best five-eight in rugy league?

there are 22 players per side 18 on the ground 4 on the bench(used in rotation{interchange}) 3 in the middle, six in the back line 6 in the forward line 3 on ballers which includes all three zones(full back line, half back line, center line, half forward line, full forward line, on ballers and the interchange bench) the aim of the game is to kick the ball through the two middle posts which = 6 points either side of them = 1 point

the ways you can dispose of the ball is either to kick it or handball it to one of your team mates it is a contact sport and given the speed these players travel at will put someone like us on our bottoms it is more dangours more then all other contact sports in australia for example leauge and union

Lance "Buddy" Franklin?

It's every man for himself and forget about the ball. No really, it's a cross between football and rugby.

Hey guys..Who in your opinion is currently..?

18 players per side, played on a huge oval pitch. Players can handle and/or kick the ball. Catching a kicked ball before it bounces results in a 'mark' (essentially a free kick). Players can run with the ball but must bounce it every few strides. Points are scored for a goal (kicking ball in between two posts) which nets the team 6 points - or a behind (kicking ball in between smaller posts either side of the main goalposts, which nets 1 point. Game is played over 4 quarters. Winning team is side with most points aggregated at end of match. Restarts are performed by referee bouncing the ball in the centre or throwing over their head when the ball leaves the playing field.

In rugby league. Is it a try if the arm carrying the ball makes contact with the ground but the ball doesnt?

I think its a mixture of Irish gaelic football and rugby.
Ireland has played Austrailia but with a round ball.

Who will win the Rugby Union Super 14s this year and why?

Aussie Rules?
There are no rules in Aussie Football.

Why is it that Association Football and Rugby has travelled all over the world yet Aussie Rules hasn't?

you would be better of asking for general overview of the meaning of life,it would take up less space..you need to watch it to understand it.

Who is the greatest player to have graced the fields of the NRL.?

In addition to others, Australian Rules Football is played on a cricket ground (oval). The players can kick and run in any dirrection. If you kick the ball between the inner posts you score 6 points, if it goes between the outer posts you score 1 point. The players can pass with the hands or kick to others. If a player catches a ball on the full, that has travelled a certain amount of distance, it is called a mark, and the player gets a 'free kick' from that position. If the ball goes over the side line, a referee throws the ball back into play. If a player is tackled, the ball is bounced by a referee and players challenge to get the ball.
