The West Coast Eagles apologised to the AFL on the weekend for their recent pathetic behaviour. Now the "football public" deserve an apology from the AFL for their Pathetic continued support of what the EAGLES have served up to the Football community. AFL should also explain why the Eagles are being "spoon fed "to another Finals series by way of dodgy free kicks, as highlighted by Richmond's Kane Johnson last saturday. In round 2 ,Kerr & Judd received frees resulting in goals, 2 frees = 2goals = Eagles 12 point win, that occurred after Collingwood had lead to 1/2 time, but the AFL,through their (umpires ) got the Eagles over the line. Kerr and Judd 32 frees between them after 5 rounds, thats 6 shared per game, could this be a reasonably pointed indication as to who will figure prominently in the Brownlow this year .? Ok there will be those who say I'M a cynic, or misguided or the like , but please tell me, WHY does the AFL allow these flawed controversies, as well as ridiculous rule changes, to continually disrupt the "Worlds" greatest game .
As for your final 8, who cares , if defenders cant defend and the man 'playing the ball' is regularly penalised, surely the AFL has the FINAL 8, already organised as well .

yes I agree with Klose's assessment on who will make the 8, but when it comes to the Grand Final, I'm hoping that neither West Coast or Sydney are there! Any other team - yes as its time for a change...otherwise AFL is becoming far too predictable!...Will the saints defeat the bulldogs tonight?
I think you got it spot on except for freo and the dogs need to be reversed.There must be no West Aussies on this site as there are to many people complaining about the eagles. What Ben did to himself is his business and no one has the right to make statements. If the media did as much reporting on the drug traffickers and jumped into there lives as much as they do to our sporting stars . Australia would not have a drug problem now But as per usual our our media are cowards.They would be to scared to get them selves to close to those stories.Instead of the media blaming our superstars for the problems we have on our streets they should attack the source. Our Anzac's got in the trenches' our com unity services and sportsmen get in the trenches everyday. Our media need to wake up.
