I would say no...just like every other sub group of society I have met some stupid soccer players.If that was true, then we wouldn't have so many no-brain soccer players making such stupidities out on the field! well it depends. Do you mean smart academically, or smart as in street wise?playing soccer takes making fast decisions. it can make you more deceive and look at patterns and also organization. so it does make you smarter sense it stimulates your brain.
