There's been some talk about Leeds United and Boston United going into Administration to avoid having a10-point penalty deducted from their points for next season. What exactly is Administration?

When ths happens to the company behind a team in the Football League, that team is instantly hit with a 10-point deduction. In the case of Leeds, who would have needed a mathematical miracle to happen on the last day of the season to avoid relegation, they opted to go into administration then and lose 10 points, rather than suffer this punishment in League One and start off next season with a handicap.
