Why are there so few premiership football tickets offered on ebay.co.uk?
There are either eight or eleven players on the field at a time. When you're playing with 11, you have a goalie, sweeper, right defender, left defender, two to three forwards, and 3-4 midfielders. The two forwards usually kick the ball off. They HAVE to kick it past the midfield line to start, or else it won't be in play.OFFSIDES - ex. if you have the ball, and one of your teammates are open, but between the last defender and the goalie, they are offsides.
CORNER KICKS - happen when the ball is kicked out of bounds by the team whose side the ball is on. ex. if the other team has the ball on your side of the field, and they kick it out of bounds between the goal and the corner, then it's a corner kick.
THROW-INS - when a player kicks the ball out of bounds on the long side of the field, the other team throws it BEHIND THEIR HEAD, to one of their teammates.
GOAL KICKS - when the opposing team kicks it out between the goal and the corner, the team whose side the ball is on gets to take it to the corner of the 18 yard box and kick it without the other team stopping them.
The goalie can pick the ball up only when the ball comes to them by the other team, and the goalie may only pick up the ball after it has touched the goalie's team ONLY IF THE BALL WAS UNINTENTIONAL. If it's on purpose the goalie may only kick the ball back.
obviously, no one can pick up the ball unless they are the goalie.
YELLOW CARD - when a player has done something somewhat dangerous, but not dangerous enough to be kicked out of the game.
RED CARD - when a player does something dangerous, or something that the referee feels should be red carded.
Hope that helps!

Can you give me 5 banker bets on tomorrows football?
Passion comes from following your team thru thick and thin. It all depends on the rivalry he has with another team. Your level of passion depends on how you enjoy the game.It would take me way way too long to write something about the rules and history of football. Sounds like your family member will be the best teacher for you. I would find out which club team and country team he supports and look up there websites.
Have fun.
What do you think about steven gerrard?
I learned by sitting down and watching the matches with a friend who understood the game and started asking questions. Then I adopted his favorite team (Man United) and started following their games. I picked Ruud to be my favorite player. Then I also make it a point to learn about other teams (Real Madrid, and others) and other leagues (La Liga, Serie A).You just have to start somewhere. Like reading the answer above me and watching out for the offsides, corner kicks, goal kicks, and throw-ins in a match. In addition, it will help to know that a GOAL is counted when it's not offside and the ball went over the line completely (except Giggs' recent FA cup incident where some people think it was a goal while others think Giggs committed a foul by pushing Cech -- for me, I don't worry about it anymore. United gave its best and Chelsea won -- that's okay.). A ball is out of play if it's completely outside the lines even if it does not hit the ground. While on the ground, it's still in play as long as it does not go completely outside. Then you can learn about free kicks, penalty kicks, tackles, stepovers, fakes, back heel kicks, headers, bicyle kicks, and a whole lot of fun stuff.
Good luck. Start watching. Give it a chance to turn you into a fan.
