Few can argue that Manchester United are currently the most impressive and talented team in football. Man U also have a long and impressive history of success. Liverpool may be the only other english team that compares to Man U in their success both in England and in Europe. Chelsea FC, my personal favorite, is a growing force in the world of football but has not been as impressive this year as past seasons...but the season is not over yet. Elsewhere, Barcelona has been dominating Spain for the past few years and is certainly more entertaining and successful than the Real Madrid of old. Inter Milan is clearly the most powerful team in Italy since the fall of Juventus...but only time will tell if this trend continues. Germany, Holland and France also possess teams that can all compete with other elite teams from Europe and beyond, but these teams are less well known. Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, Olympic Lyonnois, Ajax and PSV to name a few. In conclusion, your question cannot be completely and clearly answered, football varies too much from country to country and some teams never meet each other (South American vs European teams) so there is and may never be a one Grestest football team. Many teams have proven through the years why they are considered great in their own leagues and countries, but what makes football truly unique and wonderful, is that no matter how great a team may be, there will always be another team capable of beating them and stealing their glory.Chelsea vs milan what a UCL final??

Despite the fact that I prefer Chelsea, I have to be honnest and tell that "Real Madrid" are the greatest as they won more European tropies comparing to any other club out there and that's what gives them the respect they have today.Thanx!
