My group organizes a weekly league. is there a way to use yahoogp's 2 have people signup & collect their info

the people in my group organize ourselves into teams and play each other one day week, but the group is too large to divide everyone up into even teams. we had been using another site to collect info on players skill levels to evenly divide our teams, but would like to consolidate our info collection to use only the yahoogroups site can we do this? anyone know how?
