it seems to me that it has some kind of nerve relieving purpose, gaining the focus and higher concentration for the player, associating this little ritual to the state of mind and the whole players preparation to give his best shot. I don't know, just seems to me like that. I'm new to this game, but I liked it a lot while I was following this year's championship... and by the way I study Psychology so I have interpreted it that way because I also have noticed it and wondered what it was...How do you know which players are good in 2K7 Baseball?
