Can you please tell me how to run a marathon good?
I am 15 years old, 5'1 and 135 pounds. I workout and have muscles, and I am a girl. I do track and cross country and my coach wanted me to do the half marathon in a couple of weeks and I need info on how to have the best run possible and what I need to start doing now and all that too. thanks!

My son ran a full marathon at 16. It was good for him, he was in shape and well trained. You need to follow a training guide, such as those found at runnersworld.com to find a schedule you can follow, and also tips and guidelines for being successful.I have a mini skateboard and its like 1foot ?inches and how do you ollie on a mini skateboard?
I frown on a 15-year-old doing a full marathon, for all sorts of physiological reasons. Your coach is right, do the half.But if you want to get some good information, go onto www.halhigdon.com and look around. His training tips, tools, and schedules are free, and he can give you advice about running at your age.

training, training, training! Start running A lot. A half marathon is about 13 miles, so your going to need to be able to run that far. I would start with 5 miles and slowly bump it up 3 - 6 miles a week. soon enough you'll be able to run great distances.More Questions & Answers...
