I want to add 2 feet (at least one) to my vertical leap. It's about 20-24' right now but i want to dunk next year. I can get 9 feet jumping off one or two feet. I am currently 5' 7 1/4" and i might be 5' 9-11" next year. Please tell some good exercises and what areas in my legs to tone so i can get ready in the next 6 months. things that will help you are plyometrics, squats, leg curls, and other such exercises, also there are special shoes that you can get from the eastbay cateloge that are called strenght shoe and have you walk and run on your toes

Be consistent. Every single day do three sets of thirty jump squats with one minute rest in between. Within a few months, you will see results. I do not recomend ankle weights. I personally have had bad experiences with them.
