How do you paint a skateboard?
So my friend gave me a skateboard, but it's an old one. The top of it is ok, but the bottom of is is really roughed up, and I can't even tell what the pattern is anymore. So how would I paint it? Would I use spray paint, or acrylic, or what kind? And any ideas for designs? Oh, and I don't need to worry about the bottom getting really scatched, since I don't really do any tricks or anything.

Are the liquids inside the piant balls ...?
I use to do that all the time.Go to Home depot and buy the cans of spray paint that cost 88 cents. That's the best stuff you can get (it dries evenly, fast, and hard).
If you want to make a design, buy some posterboard, clear contact paper, and an exacto knife. Come-up with a design and draw it on the board. Seperate the design into its individual colors, each color needs its own piece of contact paper.
Starting with the base coat (most visible color on the board) paint the entire board.
Cover the board with the first piece of contact paper (second most common color on the board). Paint it with the new color.
Remove that piece of contact paper.
Repeat until you have completed your design.
It's pretty fun, but it takes several days to complete a board.

I use to use spray paint, with a small little design.More Questions & Answers...
