Gymnastics or cheerleading?
ok does any one have any advice on how to toe tuck for cheerleading? when ever i do it i just can't stay in the air long enough and i cant touch my toes because im not in the air long enough. alsohow can i stay in the air long enough to do a split? and last how do i do a back/front flip in the air? please helpp!!! need help! please! the ones that help are very very veryy well appreciated! thank you and have a great day!

I am a gymnast too. To do a toe tuck you need to have a little help before doing it on your own. start maybe on a trampoline or on a bed (make sure you have room to jump up of course). Then bring your knees to ur chest. Keep doing that until you can do it really well. then once you've done that, get on grass (NOT PAVEMENT OR WOOD IN CASE OF HURTING YOUR FEET). Then bend and jump as high as you can and bring your knees to your belly!THERE YA GO!!
I use to cheer, but its kina hard to explain how to do a toe touch over the internet. Cheerleading is more visual tan verbal. All i can say, is practice, practice, practice.And ask your coach if she can spend about 30 minutes after practice to spend some one on one time with you.
