How do you do the splits?


i really want to learn how to do the splits and i've been stretching a lot every day. How do i do it?

You are definatly on your way. Keep stretching every day and try to do the splits every day. See how close you are do doing the splits. If your trying to do straddle splits(legs out to each side) stretch that way. Spread your legs and go down as far as you can, thats a very good stretch. If your trying for the front splits(one leg infront and one leg behind you) stretch that way. Again, spread your legs that way and go down until it hurts your legs.
Dont over do it, but keep trying hard. Good luck! You will probably be able to do the splits very soon!!

just stand up straight and start sliding your legs apart as far as they will go, keep doing that until your crotch finally hits the floor (it may take more than a few tries.) It's a great thing to work on whil you're watching tv.

How do i backside smith grind on a skateboard?

With much time and perseverance. Stretching the muscles, joints and limbs out to adapt to such manoeuvre's takes time.

There are many exercises you can do, just do a quick search through Google and I'm sure you could find yourself some diagrams also.
Also plenty of videos/dvds out there too, like Pilates, that is a great reference.

You have to work on your flexibility. It's great to do during your free time or watching TV. Google it up and I bet you a lot of cheer sites have somthing on split excercises and improving spilts and jumps. Hope I helped!

What do you do when a high school coach treats an athlete with no respect?

The best way that I know how to be able to do the splits is to "sit" in the split position as often as possible.

While watching television, instead of sitting on the couch. Do a front facing split toward the TV. To do this just stand in front the of TV and start to slowly walk your feet further apart until they are as far as you can go. Then lean the rest of your body forward and rest on your forearms.

Do this for at least an hour a day and you will find that you can get down further and further.
