The symbols are just the Element logo. Fiberlight and Helium are some deck technologies by Element. For doing flips and street style skating, get a board from 7.5-8.0" width from any well-known brand, such as Darkstar, Flip, Baker, Almost, or Zero (there are more but these are just suggestions), and you'll be fine. Blanks are cheaper, but you never know who made it and it may have been made badly.What kind of skatboard should I get?
get a 7.5 blank deck at your local skate shop they are good if your just begining and even if you are really good. i use blank decks all the time, why spend 15 extra bucks for a picture ont he bottom that is gonna be scratched offTomorrow, i have shot put try outs at 8:30 in the morning.?

probably almost. Those symbols stand for Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire, Element's teams. I think a helium board is when they Drill holes in the board and insert helium. Don't get those, they break easily.More Questions & Answers...
