Question:I'm in my second year of middle school track, and I need new shoes. I'm coming off of nike shox, which I don't like. Right now I'm focusing on getting good training shoes, I can get spikes later.. no meets in the near future. What should I get?
Nike air max 360 and adidas adizeros look decent.. I heard a lot of good things about asics too?

Don't get the 360's. If you're going to go with Nike, I've found that their "no-gimmick" shoes (i.e. no fancy air bubbles, etc.) are a lot better. Those bubbles just pop after a few weeks of running and then fill with water and debris. The best thing to do would be to go somewhere where they will size you up and examine your foot type (flat, high arch, narrow, etc.); then you can narrow your choices and try on a variety of brands.

you should really get spikes there a lot better than just regular r unning shoes. but if you dont i would get asics, they're really nice even though they might be ugly.
