A fence denotes out of bounds left of the cart path. Taking my stance I am in bounds but hitting backwards?
Question:my feet are on the cart path but am aiming away from the hole.To take a drop I can now make the shot towards the hole. Is this legal?

You get relief from the cart path if it interferes with your stance. Find the nearest point of relief no closer to the hole and take 1 club lenght from there. Drop and hit from that point.
