Where has the USPGA tour gone on Sky Sat?
Question:Not really into football so one of the main reason i subscribed to sky sports was the live golf, the USPGA tour seems to be now shown on the Santana sports channel, no reports of this anywhere on Sky.com
Santana is a subscription channel so i am angry that i am being asked to pay again, do they not take enough already without sub contracting to other suppliers, why has ofcom not taken charge?

As for why Sky don't mention it - well, they wouldn't, would they? Do Ford have adverts saying "our cars aren't as fast as a BMW"?
Setanta aren't a "subcontractor" - strange as it may seem, some media outlets in the world still aren't in the grubby hands of Rupert Murdoch. They're an independent, Irish-owned company which has the rights not just to USPGA Golf but also some Premiership games (starting August 2007). What Ofcom have done is to force Sky to open up channels on their satellite to independents like Setanta so there can be some competition in the market.
I know it's a pain in your situation, but speaking as someone who refuses on principle to pay a penny to News International - so can no longer follow his beloved cricket, for instance - I'm glad I can now get Setanta on cable or freeview and be able to see some top-class sport beyond what the BBC carries!

It used to be separate, Euro tour extra, US golf and World of golf were 3 show on sky sports but this year they've incorporated it into 1 long show called golf night. The old format with the 3 different shows was much much betterI think it is all on Satanta now.
I have to agree with you ,sky are taking the p---,no mention anywhere that the golf was going,and then you have to pay more to
get it,i to am going to stop my sky subscription,i think £40.00 a month for the rubbish they turn out is obscene

Sentanta sports. For £15 a month you get golf, football,Horse-racing.Its nice too see sky having some competition for a change maybe! they will have to cut their subscription charges.More Questions & Answers...
