What is the time(handicap) to change my cavity irons to blade irons?

How do you avoid slicing a ball when playing into a crosswind that exaggerates the slice?
when you feel confident enough to hit them. i've been a scratch golfer for about ten years and hit cavity backs for five of those years. i now hit hogan blades and they are nice. the difference between the two are that blades are less forgiving on a bad shot but more successful on a good shot. cavity backs are more forgiving on a bad shot but some results of a good swing suck because i think the ball flies further than you want it to sometimes. How can i get a golf club sponsorship?
If you don't feel confident, never. One of the few benefits of blades over game improvement irons is workability and increased shotmaking potential. Cavity backed irons are much easier to hit regardless of your handicap. If your handicap is around 10, try a few blade-style iron sets out and see if you really prefer them.GOLF: Where can I find a 6 iron for a WILSON STAFF "Fluid feel" irons? FREE!?
a blade iron is related to the size.(length of head) I think what you are referring to is muscle back opposed to cavity back. demo a muscle back from somewhere and check it out although i would recomend a progressive set if you are unsure of your ability, if your not under a 10-13 handicap i don't think i would bother. Another thing if you don't know how to work the ball i don't think i would bother until you figure that outHow many holes is high school golf? bout how long is a game?
