Drivers for women. Here's a quick list of drivers for you to consider.
Hope it helps!
1. Ping's G2L driver is ideal for average- to slower-swing-speed players who need height and distance but don't like the look of a supersize driver. It features a 400cc titanium clubhead with 15.5 degrees of loft, in which weight has been strategically placed to make the club forgiving on mis-hits. $350.
2. Callaway's Big Bertha 454 titanium driver is the company's best all-around club for women of every playing level. It's big and lightweight, and it launches the ball higher and with less spin than previous Big Bertha models, adding distance. Available in 11, 13 and 15 degrees of loft. $375.
3. Taylormade's r5 dual women's driver should appeal to players who tend to lose shots to the right. With 12 or 13.5 degrees of loft and a heel-weighted design, the r5 helps get the ball airborne quickly and promotes a right-to-left ball flight. $425.
4. Bobby Jones Golf unveils one of GFW's favorite new clubs, the 14-degree Players Series by Jesse Ortiz driver. This clubhead design (notice the unusual shape) places weight in areas that help promote the proper inside-to-out swing path, reducing slicing and adding lift. It's also mighty pretty. $250.
5. Cleveland's W-Series Launcher features a 400cc beta-titanium head and a hot (though legal) clubface that delivers a powerful crack at impact and sends the ball off fast and far. It's perfect for mid- to low-handicap players looking for distance and control. Available in 12 and 14 degrees of loft. $390.
6. Nike Golf offers one of the biggest drivers on the market. The Women's Ignite 460 measures 460cc (the USGA legal limit) and is made from NexTi, a titanium-based alloy that is lighter and stronger than regular titanium. Excellent for the average- to faster-than-average-swing-spee... woman. Available in 10.5 and Lucky 13 degrees. $469.
7. Ben Hogan's Big Ben C-S3 has created a lot of buzz recently. The clubhead features three factory-fixed weight cartridges that allow better players to select a draw-, fade- or neutral-biased design to counter particular swing flaws. Available in 10.5 and 12 degrees for women. $399.
8. Dunlop has some fun with its electric blue driver, the 12-degree SeƱorita LoCo, but we're dead serious about how much we like it. With a 400cc forged beta-titanium head and a titanium-reinforced graphite shaft, the LoCo is a high-quality club for just $150. And who can the resist the color?
How do they put up scores in golf?
Neither... both Nike and Cobra make far inferior clubs to brands such as Titleist, PING, Callaway, even Srixon... I guess that if I was forced to play one of those... I would choose the Cobra because historically Cobra has made better drivers than NikeWhat year did the callaway big bertha 3 wood come out?
The Nike is impossible to hit unless you have a totally perfect swing that is spot on consistent from swing to swing. I cant hit it with any regularity, and i have actually retired it for a Taylor-Made r7What is a good golf course to play in Orlando?
I personnally would go with cobras if limited to those two choices.A lot of courses use those two clubs as rentals, and i've played them both while travelling - i definitely preferred the cobras.
Sure, the Cobra is inferior to Titleist, taylormade and Ping (so is the Nike), but you're looking for a deal iassume - not looking to break the bank while getting a good set.
Like i said, i prefer the cobras, but the nikes are a good value as well.
Go to your local golf shop and test 'em out.
Does some body wants to watch Qatar Masters 2007 at Doha Golf Club ??
Well even Tiger had problems with his Ignite....so probably the CobraHow far does belief go in golf?
the nike ignite, it has a great feel, i have one, i dont know about the cobra fp but my ignite is doing the job 4 meI'd go with whichever I hit the best. The name on the club is meaningless, if you don't hit it well.
How tall is Michelle Wie (golfer)?
Cobra FP ;>go for the Cobra bcuz the Nike ignite is horrible.....you cant hit it straight at all and you have no consistency with it....the Cobra has to be better no matter wat
What differences are there in the Callaway Fusion FT-3 and FT-5 drivers?
Cobra is a much better driver for average weekend players. It's more forgiving and launches the ball better with less spin. I would imagine that if you were a lower handicap (low single digit), you may want to consider the Ignite because you can maybe work the ball better with it, but most people just want some forgiveness with that big dog...I prefer the Cobra FP.
