First you contact your local Sectional PGA Office and sign up for a PAT (Player Ability Test). Then you have to pass the test which is a 36 hole tournament with a target score that you have to shoot or better. Then you have to go through 3 levels of books and 2 checkpoints and a few classes. after spending $1200 or more you will be a pro.
