Because it's truely an awesome game. Basketball used to be my thing, and I can remember about two years ago making my case that golf is not a sport. Not only have I done a 180, but the golf swing a true athletic, and much more complicated than hitting a baseball or a jump shot. I love the game of golf. My first time was about the same as yours, and I was hooked. I was actually hooked from the moment I stepped foot on the driving range. Sheer total embarrassment and total humiliation. You know you can do better and want to prove that. Golf is so great it is different every single day. You may be 40 over next time.. Good luck but do go to the practice range and putting green more often.
