It can be done in three rounds, rotate them in pairs. If you give each player a number from 1-8. In the first round, 1, 2, 3 & 4 play in one group, 5, 6, 7 & 8 play in the other. Round 2, 1, 2, 7 & 8 play in one group, 5, 6, 3 &4 play in the other.
