they are easier to hit than an iron and better out of the rough than a fairway wood so what else can i say. You are costing yourself shots if you are not using at least one.We are watching history...Will Tiger win 30 majors before he's done?
no. it's all about preference and skill level really. high to mid handicappers can benefit from these clubs since they are much easier to hit than your typical 2, 3, 4 irons. I personally do not like them since I am much more comfortable using the long irons. guess I just learned to use them the old fashioned way. I have hit the hybrids and although they are easier to hit, my yardages with them were actually less than with my regular long irons. I'm sure in cases of lie they play a much better role, but for your average player, they can be a great benefit to them. I wouldn't go to crazy with them at first, buying them I mean. You would want to find a 3, 4 iron replacement first and see if it suits you.What distances should I get with different golf clubs?
