In golf. how do you hit a fade?
Answers:
St Andrews..the home of golf..?
Actually, a fade is caused by striking the ball outside in, not inside out. (An inside out swing produces a draw or hook.)The simple answer is that the club face has to be slightly open relative to the path of the clubhead at the instant that the ball is struck. This produces a clockwise spin (for righthanders) and the ball will move from left to right.
How did golf end up with 18-holes?
A fade is caused by the club striking the ball "inside out", versus square up. To cause this, you can do several different things.1. you can adjust your grip slightly to open up the clubface.
2. you can drop your shoulder more at point of impact, which will cause your hip turn to be slightly slower, opening the clubface.
Do both, and you will get an all out slice.
Line up your stance in an open position (that is, your lead foot slightly back from a square stance. Take your normal swing and you should get a fade. Or just open the club face on your down swing. Not too much, though. then you get a big slice. A lot of golfers can do this without even trying (me included) Hope this helps!!

How do you get a golf ball to check and spin back on the green?
Do everything you normally do only move your left thumb (if you're a righty) in closer to your left hand. This is called weakening your grip. It is the easiest way that doesn't mess with your regular swing.More Questions & Answers...
