I just can' t believe the Flames made this series so close. They were the worst team in the playoffs this year. Kipper was most definitally the backbone for that team and for how far they actually got in the series. He was peppered with so many shots that I'm sure he will still have bruises next season. I think they could of won it if they didn't decide to play "injure as many as possible" style of hockey, and instead played "score goals and keep them out of our zone" hockey. After that series the only player on calgary I respect is Kip, he just did his job, and didn't worry about killing anyone around him, unlike his backup buddy. Proves that a great goalie can keep a team in a playoff series.The fact is Calgary could have won all three home games (did win two and last night was a tossup that went against them). But they also were shellacked in all three road games. This was the story of their entire season, great at home and awful on the road. Even if they won the game last night, their road woes would have bitten them in game seven. Truth is, I was rooting for them last night so I could have a game to watch on Tuesday.
