Why India is Lacking behind in Hockey?
Funny you should mention that because i grew up in colorado and followed the avs since their inception in 1995. the foot on the shoulders of their jerseys is for bigfoot. it was put on there in fun mostly. because of the mountains, there were reported bigfoot sightings a long time ago. when the avs were pondering over what to do for their third jerseys, they had a task force work and come up with ideas for two years and the best they could come up with was the word avalanche diagonally on their jerseys. boring. everybody i ever talked to about the third jersey wished they would have put the foot on the center of the jersey. and that is your avalanche history for the day... great question ;-)Should the Flames get rid of everybody except Kipper for next season?

I found some on ebay. here's a link to themIt's the symbol for "big foot". At one time the Avalanche had a mascot named "Howler" who was a big foot look-alike. They did away with the mascot after he supposedly grabbed a girl's posterior.
