There's not really any plays in hockey. Hockey isn't football, hockey happens on instinct and common sense. The only "play" that comes to mind in hockey is the breakout. Same goes for strategies, but I guess you can have a few strategies. But overall, hockey is a game of instinct and knowledge of the game.
