AAA or AA hockey.?
Question:I currently play A hockey in london, ontario. I like but I want a more competitive level. I weigh 104 ilbs and im 5 feet 4 inches. Im one of the fastest kids on my team and im really good in the corners getting grity and my coach always says i have the softest hands on the team. Should i try out for AAA or AA? And what are some ways to gain weight?

Haha when I grew up we'd always joke "The only difference between AA and AAA is that AAA you drive further." It really depends on what you wanna do with hockey. If you wanna make the NHL realilistically AAA is the way to go. Compitition is "better" and scouts ar more likely to look at you. If you just wanna have fun (score more goal whatever) AA is better for you. In hockey you don't want to gain weight you wanna gain strength. Sometimes they go hand in hand but I know 160lbs guys that canr take out 220lbs guys because they are strong. Eat a little more and lift weights. This should give you what you need to grow bigger and stronger. GLWhen do the world broomball championships start?
Since your only 13 than just take little steps for now go for the AA team. If you make it and still find its not competitive then just stick it out for the season and try out for AAA the next year. Good Luck.How do you fight in NHL07 for Playstation 2?
AAA is alot more expensive as well as more travel, BUT ifyou want to get fast-tracked AAA is the way to go. You will be dealing with alot of elitist attitudes and very high skill players though, even at your age.How much would i be able to get for a 1991 pro NHL set?
All depends on what you are looking for. to further your "career" it is best to go to the highest level. If you get the most enjoyment out of playing high caliber competition go AAA. Even at your age, the higher you go the more will be expected. That doesnt mean it isnt fun, only that coaches and everyone else will expect more with bigger tournaments and exposure.More Questions & Answers...
