About the Islander fans at tonight's game?

Question:I just caught the end, but the announcer on FSNY was saying something about how there were fans doing something terrible during the national anthem, and he mentioned the shootings or something...Can anyone tell me what happened?

I was at the game. 3 fans in the nose bleeds were talking during the moment of silence. Within 3 seconds you heard hundreds of fans say SHUT UP! Then right before the moment of silence ended, one guy said "RANGERS SUCK D*CK" which got a laugh from everyone. Listen, you have thousands of revved up fans screaming their heads off. That only 3 people made noise during the silence was actually pretty impressive to me. And i didnt hear anyone say anything bad to the girl who sang the anthem. I think people are overreacting to a non story.

yea during the national anthem, so fans were screaming at the singer which i consider disrespectful to the nation. also, during a moment of silence for the students killed at the shooting today, fans were screaming more crude remarks (i don't know exactly what was said though, sorry.)
